Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Manager, Client Engagement (CE). This role will be an instrumental member of our CE team, supporting the successful transition of enterprise-wide strategic sourcing programs for indirect categories with mid to large scale organizations. This position is a mix of internal and client facing role which requires strong project management skills, serving as a change management agent, along with ability operate within a matrix organizational structure.

 

Primary Role:

The primary role is to serve as critical support for the CE lead throughout the transition phase of an engagement.  This includes, but not limited to, leading tactical aspects of project management activities, coordinating with our Center of Excellence (COE)/ category leads on managing progress, highlighting and proactively addressing risks, tracking project status against financial and timeline commitments, manage larger program calendar, and some analytical/ presentation support as needed. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and management of project plans to ensure alignment to program financial, operational, and timeline commitments
  • Partner with CE lead to provide and maintain strategic direction, share insights, and support successful transition across in scope indirect categories
  • Coordinate and support engagements through discussions with internal and external team members; ensure structured follow up process is maintained to track progress, decisions, and changes
  • Proactively manage potential delays, hindrances and develop action plans to address accordingly
  • Develop client reports, executive readouts, and presentations to ensure cohesiveness in messaging, flow, and content across projects and clients
  • Build strong relationships with the internal LogicSource team as well as client engagement teams.
  • Serve as a change management liaison for engagement team and develop plan of action to address specific needs at various phases

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, and or Engineering
  • Strong program management experience, preferably in a client facing role
  • Ability to operate within a highly matrixed and fast paced organization structure
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to think critically, and offer creative solutions
  • Detail oriented and tactically focused with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • High degree of emotional intelligence with capability to build trust and relationship with peers
  • Proficient at using common tools used in project management/ management consulting roles (e.g. MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, etc.) or other project planning tools
  • 6 plus years solid business experience, with:
    • 2+ years in a program management role requiring hands on project management, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and change management principles
    • Experience in managing operation/ supply chain/ strategic sourcing programs are a plus

 

Travel: Flexible and can vary between 20% – 50% of the time
