Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time  Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Marketing Services. In this role you will be key member of our Marketing Sourcing Practice team, who helps our clients manage their marketing solutions portfolio in disciplines including (but not limited to) creative agencies, media agencies, marketing technology, marketing research, data licensing and public relations agencies. This role will be largely focused on reviewing vendor proposals and contracts, reading and comparing commercial proposals from various suppliers, and evaluating and analysing vendor proposals against LogicSource benchmarks.  The ideal candidate is equally comfortable balancing the team’s analytics responsibilities in addition to  tactical execution which includes sourcing and initial vetting of supplier candidates and helping to manage and run RFPs. This role will report to a Director of Strategic Sourcing, Marketing Services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist other team members in managing large-scale marketing RFPs for multiple clients, including documents preparation, vendor invitations, RFP release, managing questions and answers, monitoring response timing.
  • Manage and effectively assist on multiple projects on time from various team members and with the appropriate results.
  • Analyze and compare vendor RFP responses and assist in preparation of client read-outs.
  • Ensure all internal and client processes and procedures are followed, including NDAs, Vendor Requirements, Master Service Agreement terms and conditions and Scope of Work requirements.
  • Continuously expand your expertise of the vendor ecosystem by maintaining in-depth knowledge of capabilities and relationships with the national vendor marketplace in the marketing services categories
  • Maintain benchmark and savings data files by gathering input from team members and updating as projects are completed.
  • Work with team Directors on new client acquisition initiatives, including modelling and proposal development  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree plus experience with analytics and sourcing and procurement.  Some knowledge of, and interest in the marketing services disciplines is a plus.
  • Experience working within client services (i.e., consulting or agency) is a plus.
  • Analytically adept with the ability to interpret complex data for informed decision-making and to assess results
  • Must have strong expertise in developing Excel spreadsheets, building pivot tables and Powerpoint charts to illustrate cost comparisons.
  • Solid aptitude for evaluating and comparing vendor proposals and application of critical thinking to create readouts for clients. 
  • Must be task-oriented and detail-minded; someone who is well organized and has demonstrated effective time management skills would succeed in this role
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects for different clients at once is imperative.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure on-time delivery
  • Experience with Power BI or equivalent data-based software used to visualize and analyze data to generate insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with vendors, and stakeholders at all levels through the organization (both client and LSI)
  • Ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work

 

 

Travel: This position may require some light travel.
