Position Summary:  

 

This remote or Minneapolis, MN position will focus on analytics using LogicSource's spend cube to drive spend governance and adherence to procurement policies across all spend categories. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will be responsible for leveraging spend analytics to improve governance, increase supplier performance, and enhance visibility into spend across the entire procurement landscape. This role will focus on delivering data-driven insights to optimize procurement strategies, increase compliance, and ensure a high standard of supplier management. You will report to the Manager of Spend Governance & Compliance. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Leverage LogicSource's spend cube to perform comprehensive spend analytics across all procurement categories, driving insights that improve compliance and governance. 
  • Manage supplier performance and compliance across all procurement categories, ensuring processes are streamlined and aligned with company policies. 
  • Conduct Bid and Buy events for all relevant categories, ensuring compliance and driving cost-effectiveness. 
  • Run approval or disapproval processes for vendors, ensuring alignment with procurement policies and compliance standards. 
  • Lead efforts to consolidate vendors and improve supplier management, ensuring a compliant and efficient supplier base. 
  • Execute accurate and timely procurement activities in compliance with contractual Service Level Metrics across all categories. 
  • Review pricing exceptions and SKU rationalization, ensuring that procurement strategies align with cost-saving objectives. 
  • Handle invoice verification on new supply setups, ensuring accurate rates and resolving any discrepancies in charges. 
  • Manage monthly reporting for procurement categories, providing insights into savings, vendor performance, compliance, and procurement activities. 
  • Resolve procurement issues and relationship challenges, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across all categories. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and compliance with procurement standards across all functions. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. 
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management, procurement, and/or accounts payable functions, with a strong focus on analytics. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel for financial and spend analysis. 
  • Ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment, requiring a fast learner and flexible thinker. 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects with different deadlines. 
  • Desire and ability to take full ownership of projects and produce high-quality work. 
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong team player with the ability to interact with all levels of management. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. 

 

Travel: 

 

This position requires no travel.
