Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Facility Sourcing Professional to manage the sourcing and procurement of goods and services related to facility operations. This role is responsible for identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring the efficient procurement of maintenance, construction, and operational services across company facilities. You will work with clients to develop strategies that address both Total Cost of Ownership as well as operational inefficiencies.  As the Director, you will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing- Facilities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for facility-related services and supplies, including maintenance, repairs, utilities, janitorial, HVAC, construction, and more.
  • Working with clients to develop aggregated strategic sourcing roadmap and timeline to enable Supply Chain operations resource planning and budget development.
  • Conduct market research to identify new vendors, innovations, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and lead sourcing strategies and solutions that deliver operational improvements and cost savings while maintaining supply chain continuity and performance.
  • Areas this role is responsible sourcing and managing include:
    • Hard and Soft Facility Services
    • Warehouse/DC Fixtures & Equipment: Material Handling Equipment, Warehouse Racking
    • Janitorial, HVAC, Food Service, Safety, General R&M, Uniforms, Utilities
    • MRO supplies and services related to above categories
  • Build, manage and execute RFPs; meet with potential participants, both incumbents and non-incumbents, answer RFP related questions from suppliers, analyze RFP results and make supplier recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Negotiate best pricing and service through the application of LogicSource’s sourcing methodology, ensuring all buying complies with client policies and procedures.
  • Build a best-in-class supply chain; cultivate and manage relationships with best-in-class suppliers.
  • Implement and adhere to the supplier management structure and process.
  • Create a database of supplier pricing and pricing agreements, including key performance metrics for service quality, inventory management, volume and cost performance indicators.
  • Provide sourcing support across multiple clients, providing direction and best practices for on-site buyers.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis reports to the LogicSource leadership team and stakeholders.
  • Support Client Operations and Implementation teams throughout implementation and steady state across multiple clients.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and problem-solving support for clients and on-site client teams.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in supply chain management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years cross-functional experience in managing strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, logistics, shipping operations and material management
  • At least three (3) years at Manager level, experience would include: Indirect procurement, supply chain management and developing RFPs and RFIs for facility purchases and indirect materials.
  • Direct client interfacing, preferably mid-senior level management.
  • Managing employees and working within teams.
  • Experience within services industries (e.g., professional consulting, BPO, outsourcing).
  • Inventory management, requisitioning, fulfillment and distribution.
  • Strong problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and planning.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.                                       

Travel

This position will be required to travel up to 25%.
