Position Summary:

 

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Managing Director,Client Engagement- Healthcare based remotely.  You will be a key member of our Client Engagement team, responsible for managing the transition of  enterprise-wide strategic sourcing programs for indirect categories with mid to large scale organizations.  You will report directly to the Managing Partner, Client Services. The primary role of a Managing Director is to lead all transition activities, manage the overall program, and serve as the primary point of contract for the client.  The Managing Director will focus on client facing activities and drive the strategic direction of the program to ensure successful engagement delivery aimed at meeting or exceeded financial and operational objectives.  Additionally, they will be responsible for building and maintaining the relationship with sponsors and executive team, while managing communication with critical LogicSource internal stakeholders as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead critical client facing activities from setting clear expectations, defining roles, responsibilities, and structured governance to ensure interdependencies are understood across a cross functional team
  • Facilitate internal discussions with our Center of Excellence, Sales, and Technology Solutions teams to ensure alignment aimed to drive operational effectiveness and financial impact for the client
  • Set clear expectations, and establish project timelines to meet operational and financial targets as outlined within the engagement terms/ SOW
  • Manage the program budget including allocated resources and T&E costs
  • Ensure analytics, and presentations are accurate, complete, and deliver the intended messages effectively
  • Leverage our project management, analytical, and reporting tools to effectively manage the program
  • Serve as the primary change management liaison for client and proactively communicate potential roadblocks to stakeholders
  • Ensure effective communication to cross-functional team members of interdependencies, potential gaps, risks, and or rebalancing opportunities across projects/ clients

Qualifications

 

Required Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance from a direct supervisor
  • Capability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas defined within scope of work
  • High degree of emotional intelligence with ability to deliver on client expectations, influencing others, and or escalate as needed
  • Proficient at using common tools used in a management consulting/ client facing roles (e.g. MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) and project planning tools
  • 10+ years solid business experience within the healthcare space, with:5+ years of management consulting experience requiring hands on project management, client relationship management, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills; experience with operation/ supply chain consulting engagements are a plus
  • Prior experience in strategic sourcing and procurement across indirect categories is highly preferred
  • Strong public speaking/presentation skills

 

Travel

 

This position travels 50% to 75% of the time.
